In most cases, your magnetic paint should not need to be thinned. From time to time, during transportation, the magnetic paint can settle. So stir it first and then if you need to thin the paint add 5 - 10% water to the tin and stir in thoroughly.
Why should I apply primer after applying Magnetic Paint?
Primers help give a surface a smooth finish and will hide the black color (due to the magnetic particles) of the magnetic paint. Only very absorbent surfaces should be treated with a primer before application
