Fill any holes or cracks, strip away old wallpaper, and sand any rough areas down to a smooth finish.
Step 2 - Apply Primer
Clean the wall surface thoroughly and apply white primer to any absorbent areas.
Step 3 - Apply Adhesive
Combine the heavy-duty adhesive with 10% water, mix well, and apply two even coats using a roller.
Step 4 - Apply Wallpaper
Hang the wallpaper horizontally to facilitate working at eye level, press firmly to remove air bubbles, and allow it to dry. Wait a full 24 hours before writing.

Whiteboard Wallpaper can be applied using a ready mixed heavy duty wallpaper adhesive. Simply apply the adhesive to the wall using a roller and then apply the whiteboard wallpaper.
How to hide whiteboard wallpaper seams?
At the joint, overlap the dry erase vinyl and double cut right through with a sharp blade. This will minimize the appearance of seams on your whiteboard surface.
What direction should I hang my whiteboard wallpaper?
Whiteboard Wallpapers can be hung horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. We recommend hanging the writing wallpaper horizontally to minimize seams on writing areas.
What type of markers can be used with whiteboard wallpapers?
Any high quality whiteboard markers, like those found in the range, can be used.

Can whiteboard wallpaper be applied on any surface?
Our whiteboard wallpapers are designed to be applied to smooth surfaces. They can also be applied to curved walls. Ensure all debris and previous wallpapers have been removed. Absorbent surfaces should be treated with a primer before application.
Do I need to prime the surface before applying one of the Whiteboard Wallpapers?
Only absorbent surfaces should be treated with a primer before application. If the surface is uneven you can also apply primer to smooth out the surface.

Can I use alcohol to clean my Whiteboard Wallpaper surface?
Continued use of alcohol on Whiteboard Wallpaper may deteriorate the integrity of your surface and reduce performance.

Can I use permanent markers, and how do I remove the stains?
No, like any regular whiteboard, Whiteboard Wallpaper is not compatible with permanent markers. It may be possible to remove a permanent marker by writing over it with a whiteboard marker. This will ‘wet’ the ink again, thus making it easier to remove. Wait for two minutes, then wipe off. If this fails to work, use Smarter Surfaces Permanent Ink Remover to remove permanent marker, stubborn stains, and ghosting from whiteboards and Whiteboard Wallpaper surfaces.
